U2 replaces Paul on Letterman

Irish rockers U2 are going to be taking up a mini residency at The Late Show with David Letterman for a weeklong stay. For the week of March 2, U2 will be the musical guest each night.

Hopefully they will provide a more rockin' performance than that on the Grammys. Just sayin'.

Joaquin Phoenix does Letterman, doesn't promote much

Aspiring rapper Joaquin Phoenix appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman last night and things appear to only be getting stranger. The soon-to-be retired actor was on the show to promote his last film, Two Lovers, and gave one of the most peculiar interviews in recent memory. Phoenix spends most of the ten minute interview sitting quietly or giving short, simplistic answers. Things only get worse when Letterman asks the actor about "his time with the Unabomber."

Check out what could be Phoenix's last interview as an actor -- if his retirement sticks.
