CBS goes into deep freeze

An interesting item has come out thanks to EW's Michael Ausiello that CBS has asked all of their inhouse actors to accept a pay freeze. This is network wide for all shows being produced by the network. Shows that aren't produced by the network (like Ghost Whisperer and Without a Trace.

According to the report if actors don't accept the freeze supporting actors will be cut from the shows. In the article, "If our lead doesn't accept the freeze, we will have no choice but to let one of our supporting actors go," says the exec. "There's no question that it's the second-tier actors who are most vulnerable."
